1881

Florin & Johansson is founded.

1947

Surface treatment business unit of Florin & Johansson takes the name Nikro-Galvano.

1954

E.M.ESS AB is founded. The company starts out as a powder coating company but with time evolves into a supplier to the telecom industry.

2000

Bodycote buys out Nikro-Galvano AB.

2001

E.M.ESS AB changes its name and becomes Provexa AB.

2002

Comhat AB is acquired with the intention of fulfilling and expanding business with the telecom industry. Comhat AB is established in 1997 and receives its first investment in 1998 to develop its own antenna model.

2004

Comhat-Provexa AB acquires LysCom AB and Bodycote ABs surface treatment unit in Goteborg. At the end of the year, Comhat-Provexa AB is split into Comhat AB and Provexa AB.

2005

Production facilities are heavily damaged in a fire.

2006

Production facilities are rebuilt with modern equipment installed and production is once again started.

2007

New production lines are installed and turn over is doubled from 18 million SEK to 40 million SEK.

2008

Powder coating in Ödsmål is moved to Gothenburg.

2010

Provexa buys Ferroproducts processes for Dacromet® and Geomet®.
